Dear John,

a wonderful review and wonderful pictures, having you anywhere is like sending John Ruskin there, often discovering things that one didn't know oneself. It's wonderfully informative and always a good read, and view, regardless of whether one was actually personally there or not.

I share your view entirely about the logic regarding the time and volume restrictions in the noise abatement society in which we live as far as live music is concerned.

That's life.

This is a very sad day for quality radio.
"Penny wise and pound foolish " springs to mind.
Decades of experience and goodwill thrown out of the window for the price of five bad accountants lacking the imagination to conceive a value in anything immeasurable in mere pecuniary numbers.
