Big Band, Jazz Band, Choir, Ceilidh Group and a Bagpiper.

About the musicians:
The members of the Concert Band (brass, woodwind and percussion players) have been on tour to Holland (1996), USA (1998), Barcelona (2004), Italy (2006) and Belgium (2008).They perform at 2 school concerts each year and present performances at local fairs and galas. The Band consists of 39 players (12-18 years) and staff members.
The Jazz Band and Choir also perform at school events and the Jazz Band appears at local festivals.
The programme:
The repertoire of the Concert Band consists of original works as well as arrangements of pop and jazz standards. A bagpiper will accompany some of the music played by the concert band and play for the performance of the Highland dancers.
The repertoire of the Jazz Band ranges from big band standards to jazz and Latin arrangements of pop and rock classics.
The choir’s repertoire includes songs from musicals and popular standards.
The Ceilidh Group (piano, guitar, bass guitar and banjo) will perform traditional Scottish dances and songs.
