Latest Museumsmile Concerts

Still no sign of a show by my current blues heroine Ana Popovic in Bonn – but no need to despair as the KAH has added two blues legends to its Museumsmile concert listing – Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy (16 July). Tickets are also available now for Billy Idol (23 July) and Herbie Hancock (25 July)
Every one-time student over 40 has hit the dancefloor to ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’. Now you can relive that ‘stuck to the beer-sodden floor’ feeling at the Museumsplatz on 16 July when Jeff Beck comes to town. Buddy Guy is maybe not so famous but believe me he belongs to the few genuine living blues legends.
Billy Idol’s ‘Rebel Yell’ and ‘White Wedding’ were essentials in every students record (vinyl!) collection.
You can’t be a wild man of rock forever – or can you? See the show and find out.
Blues fans have Buddy Guy to look forward to: For the Jazz oriented amongst you Herbie Hancock needs no introduction. A legend of the in itself legendary ‘Blue Note’ record label. Hancock is rather more than your average jazz pianist. Need I say more?
Yes people, unless you’re very rich its time to get out the dartboard, pin the concert list on it, and let fate decide who to see. How many throws you take depends on your purse/wallet.
