And finally… On Wednesday morning (23 Sept) there she was – Trude Herr standing proudly in Cologne Station. By Wednesday evening she was gone.
But it was fun watching her take shape from a square block just a few days before. I hope you’ve enjoyed following the updates and thanks to the Hauptbahnhof and sculptor Emmanuel Sellier for brightening the days commuting for a while!
French Sculptor Sellier spent two weeks chiselling a lifesize model of the late Cologne born actress/singing star Trude Herr in the station lobby from 10am until 8pm.
Sellier started chiselling away at the 600 kg block of Tuff volcanic Stone on 10 September.
